Greek Life Councils

The fraternity & sorority community at Florida Tech is comprised of three councils, each with fraternity or sorority chapters belonging to one of them. The three councils are the Interfraternity Council, the Panhellenic Council, and the Professional Fraternity Council. These three Councils pride themselves on individuality while recognizing common values and principles.

Interfraternity Council

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the local governing body for National Interfraternity Conference fraternity chapters at Florida Tech. IFC promotes the highest ideals of scholarship, leadership, service, and fraternalism among its member organizations. IFC provides educational programming to fraternity chapters and their members on various topics, including leadership, risk management, alcohol awareness, and scholarship.

Panhellenic Council

The Panhellenic Council is the organization that strives to unite National Panhellenic Conference sororities and work for their common goals. Representatives from each chapter meet regularly, to share information, discuss issues of concern and interest, and vote on policies and procedures.

Professional Fraternity Council

The purpose of the Professional Fraternity Council (PFC) is to promote and enhance professional fraternities on campus by serving as a cooperative forum for sharing ideas, information, experiences, and concerns, increasing the awareness of professional fraternities on campus, and creating a spirit of fellowship among students. The result is that students can further explore their passions and interests alongside those who share these ambitions, creating a spirit of fellowship.
